So this may not make any sense to anyone but let me explain.
One of the bosses, one of the last 3, in Scum and Villainy, is a puzzle boss. On the floor is an array of droids - 4 types - and laid out in a grid like the one above. As you kill the Guards and the Buyers up above you get tokens. 8 of them. The point is to plot out what you want to actually fight down below after using all 8 coins and what you want to bring up top to help you.
So we’re trying to think about how to plot out how to tell one another which things to pick. Usually we say like… First Row, middle Left, Second row far right pair and so on so on and it costs us a little time to do so because inevitably someone has to go look and it can cost us time. So I came up with this. Now some important things to remember:
- Recon - low health and kind of hurt
- Front line - high health high damage (first to go)
- Assault - Moderate Health & High damage
- Artillery - High health & moderate damage
So say you have the following set up
Artillery | Recon | Front line | Assault
Front line | Artillery | Assault | Recon
Recon | Assault | Assault | Assault
Recon | Front line | Artillery | Recon
You want to get rid of a bunch… Recon & Front lines are 1 token, Assault & Artillery are 2. So you could say
Remove: A2, B3 B4, C1 C4, D3
So that’s 1 token in A, 4 in B, 2 in C and 1 in D. That’s a total of 8 tokens.
When you go down below you don’t have to worry about the front lines, everything is heal-able, and even if you run out of time (each row is 60seconds before the next activates) there are things you can leave up to get the hard hitters next then go back.
Hopefully this can help make things easier for others and if you have questions ask. I could also make a chart maybe to help and you could fill it out to plot better but tabbing sucks. It’s just as easy to draw it on paper or use graph paper.
This is amazing! Thankyou!
